Breastfeeding Support & Services

Breastfeeding is a biologically normal method of feeding your baby and it's known to bring great benefits to both babies and mums. While the saying 'breast is best' highlights it's perks, it's also important to remember that breastfeeding can have its ups and downs. It's not just something instinctive, it's a skill that both you and baby will learn together, and it takes time, practice and patience.

Getting ready for breastfeeding while you're pregnant can really make things smoother. The more you know about breastfeeding, the more confident you'll feel, which can help you make informed choices about feeding and childbirth, since they often go hand in hand.

As a postnatal doula I can provide hands off breastfeeding peer support, or you may be exploring options like combination, or formula feeding. We can discuss safe and responsive ways to make it work for you.

And if you run into more complex issues, I'm here to help connect you with professionals who can provide the assistance you need. My aim is to offer friendly, non judgement support and will respect your choices.
