Prenatal Support & Postnatal Doula
PRENATAL
Do you want to feel prepared for your Postnatal Period?
As you get closer to the incredible moment of meeting your baby, it’s completely natural to feel a mix of emotions—excitement, joy, maybe even a few nerves. You're likely spending a lot of time preparing for birth and gathering the things you'll need once you’re home with your new born. It’s a busy season, both physically and emotionally.
Amid all the planning, don’t forget to care for yourself too. These last few weeks of pregnancy are a time of big changes—your baby is growing rapidly, and your energy levels might shift from day to day. It’s okay to slow down. Resting when you can and tuning in to what your body needs is one of the best ways to start trusting your instincts.

Let me be there at your side, providing practical support with either:
Helping with light housework.
Preparing a delicious lunch.
Putting flat-pack furniture together.
Help organise your home/rooms for the new addition to your family.
Batch cooking done for the freezer - the cost of ingredients to be covered by the client.
Enjoy a cup of tea together, talking through your feelings as you patiently wait for your body and baby to be ready for labour.
Preparing for breastfeeding:
Understanding how hormones support you and your baby when establishing breastfeeding.
What to expect in the first 24hrs.
Discuss the benefits of laid back breast feeding.
Understanding the essential steps to establish long term milk supply.
Where to find professional support if needed.
Learn about how baby develops over the weeks.
Receive a Postnatal Workbook for you and your partner to work through.

TAILORED FOR YOU
POSTNATAL DOULA
Whether this is your first little one or your fourth, this brings a wonderful new chapter into your life. Remember to be gentle with yourself during this time - your body has done an incredible job growing your baby, and it deserves some love and appreciation.
The 4th trimester is just as important as the birth itself. I know asking for help can sometimes feel tough, but that's where I come in. I'm here to support you in a calm and friendly way, making sure you get the rest you need to heal and bond with your baby.
We can chat about what would work best for you, so you can focus on enjoying this special time, while I handle those overwhelming background tasks.
Areas, I can support you in:
A Listening Ear
Matrescence—the transition into motherhood—can be overwhelming at times. I'll be there, for you to share whatever’s on your mind. Whether it’s concerns, fears, or joyful moments, I’ll be present to truly listen and support you emotionally.
Encouragement and Reassurance
As you settle into this new chapter, you may have moments of uncertainty—but you are not alone. I’ll be there to gently encourage you, offering reassurance and helping you build confidence in your abilities as you care for your new born.
Support with Recovery After Birth
Your rest and healing are just as important as your baby’s care. I can help with light household tasks and errands so you can focus on resting, bonding, and recovering—physically and emotionally.
Breastfeeding or Bottle Feeding Support
I can offer guidance as a trained Breastfeeding Peer Supporter—helping with latch, positioning, and understanding feeding cues. I’ll also ensure you stay nourished and hydrated by keeping your snacks and drinks topped up. If you’re bottle feeding, I’ll guide you with pace feeding and the benefits with how this supports your new born.
Light Housework
From light organising to meal prep, I’ll take care of the practical bits so you can focus on your baby and your well-being.
Rest and Personal Self-Care
Taking time for yourself is not a luxury—it’s a necessity. Whether you want to take a relaxing bath, enjoy a proper shower, catch up on sleep, or simply have a moment to breathe, I will lovingly care for your baby so you can recharge.
Sibling Support
If you have older children, I can help care for them or spend time with your new born while you enjoy quality one-on-one moments with your older child—helping everyone adjust gently to this new family dynamic.
Signposting to Additional Support

What my clients say ...
"I employed Chantal as a post-natal doula after the birth of my second child. She came to support me at home for short periods of time on an adhoc basis. On reflection I regret not using her more!
Whenever she walked into my home, I felt a weight lift off my shoulders, she is such a calm and supportive person. It’s so easy to forget to look after yourself when you become a mother, but Chantal gently looks after you while helping out with the children. I cannot recommend her enough."

"I couldn’t recommend Chantal more - she stepped in as a post-natal Doula with my 3rd child… and 2.5 years later we still have her in our lives!
Post partum, you feel vulnerable so it’s not just anyone you want in your house… Chantal felt like family from the start, she turned up on day 2 (post-partum) with a delicious homemade soup for me and cake for my other kids - she knew (and always has done) exactly what I needed, she has always felt open and kind and has been a huge support with the kids and life in general as well as my mental health.
If you are considering a doula, whether it’s your first or tenth baby - I couldn’t recommend Chantal more. This kind of support is priceless, and I wish more people could experience what kind of help, both physically and mentally Chantal can offer x"

"Where do I start? I will admit I was reluctant to ask for help with my twins, determined to prove I could do it all myself when my husband went back to work. I couldn’t have been more wrong. Although I could keep them alive I wasn’t doing much else, including anything for myself.
Chantal helped make the first few months so so much easier and allowed me to do the basics of looking after myself when I couldn’t prioritise it. We kept asking her to come back (sadly saying goodbye at 1 year because I go back to work) and thank god she did! The twins love her, they light up when she walks in. She has helped a very tired family enjoy bits of the first year that we wouldn’t have been able to without her! Even down to eating lunch with both hands!
Thank you! We miss you"

"Chantal is a wonderful, kind and supportive doula who helped me navigate the early weeks with our second child. Chantal has such a calm and gentle energy that both my baby and I were immediately at ease with her. When Chantal came to visit, I could take time to have a shower, get some sleep or do admin tasks without any worries at all. I would recommend Chantal extremely highly for anyone who is looking for this sort of support."
